Needless to say, I was psyched when our new coordinator Brittany sent me this post about lazy DIY ideas on BuzzFeed and felt inspired to make my own list of ideas that are not only lazy but are also frugal (because I grew up on the Christmas Tree Shop jingle "Don't you just love a bargain?" and frugal is also the way my genetics roll).
So here's the DIY Wedding Mentor list of lazy and frugal DIY wedding ideas. Except for just one, I've done all these either at my and Rick's wedding or at weddings of couples who I've worked with, so they are tried and true!
Just grab a bunch of old frames, a few props from some place like the Dollar Store, a few items you have lying around house, and a sign. Good. To. Go.
*Tip: Have a couple of people walk around with the frames and take pictures during the wedding. That way you can make sure everyone makes it to the "photo booth," and you're bound to end up with some great pictures that you wouldn't have had otherwise with a strictly stationary photo area.
Tip: If you and/or your partner are changing last names after the wedding, I suggest buying one stamp for before the wedding and one for after the wedding with your married names. Saves on shipping, saves on time, and you might even get a discount for purchasing more than one.
Well there you have our list of ideas for self-confessed lazy and fugal couples like us. Any more ideas? Share them below!
